They may well plan to live off super noodles or have Just Eat on speed dial, but if they know how to roast a chicken, make a few pasta sauces or knock up a casserole they’ll be better off and probably more popular!
This course will give your teenagers new skills to survive being away from home, and a variety of recipes using the minimum amount of equipment and whilst working to a budget. They will learn some knife skills, acquire some knowledge of meat cuts and fish species, and an overview of kitchen hygiene. We vary the dishes according to their experience and tastes, but they may include a pork vindaloo, a lamb ragu, and a prawn linguine.
Suitable for complete beginner to more experienced, and ages 13 - 19.
